"Game of Life"
(I AM NOT A LUDDITE. I am blogging, after all.)
Anyway, this style would have the effect of creating a minor narrative element where there would normally be none. I'll scan some of the drawings if any of them are decent.

My friend Phoebe sent me this link a couple of months ago to an article from ColorLines. It is a critique of the relationship between white, American, conservative Episcopalians and conservative African Anglican bishops (and their respective churches.)
I need to read it more carefully because I think that their is quite a lot they miss coming from what seems to be a purely secular perspective, but this point is certainly taken: Rich whities who are super interested in a relationship with African bishops are probably don't know many (if any) black people at home.
Sometimes I find myself aligning with the more conservative parts of the ECUSA (as I consider joining the church), but a story like this reminds me of how much more complicated things actually are.
BTW: I'm posting this using Performancing 1.1 for Firefox. It is a Ff extension that lets you post from within a browser window, with rich editing features.
